We are closed this weekend because we are all attending the Jconcepts Supercup at Bashers RC Raceway
Thanks to all that came out today and raced. With just over 50 entries and beautiful weather the track had high bite which provided some great racing throughout the day. In 2wd Open Buggy, it was Mike Applegate with his new Kyosho RB5 WC taking the TQ and win with Glenn “The Bull” Worthington taking the 2 spot and Danny Martinez with his TLR 22 rounding out the top 3. Pro 4 Modified was the largest class of the day. It was all Danny Martinez taking the TQ and the win in style with his TLR SCTE and local guys Bobby Allen and Vice President Jim Panebianco with the Durango rounding out the top 3. 2wd open short course provided another great race, it was Glenn Worthington on the TQ spot with Applegate in the 2. Glenn went wide in turn 1 and Applegate snuck to the inside and never looked back. In the end it was Applegate taking the win with Glenn Worthington in the 2 spot, with Dominic Chin in the well earned 3rd spot. 4wd Mod was another great race, The TQ went to Vito Pagnato, but with a few costly mistakes Vito went from the front to the back in a blink of an eye. Glenn Carlson took the lead and held on for most of the race, but Vito charged hard and took back the lead and went on to win it! Glenn Carlson battled with Lazi Janos for the 2 spot, but in the end it was Glenn in the two with Lazi settling for the 3 spot. 8th scale buggy was a light turnout but as always it still provided some great racing. Tq Jader Lopez had a delayed start but when on to take the win with Paul McDonald in the 2nd spot, and Fernando Fernandez rounding out the top 3. It was Kyosho 1 , 2, 3! Thanks everyone for coming out today! Remember we are closed next weekend, because we are all attending the Jconcepts Supercup in Palm Beach Gardens at Bashers! See you in two weeks!!!!!!! Glad to see some old faces (Jeff Jones, Ryan Froyd) And some new ones too!
